Raeanus
Bio of the Man, the Myth, the Legend
The resident Metal VGM Overlord. His glorious appearance to GTT Universe occurred in July 2019. He was called into existence to balance the overwhelming and stifling calm of MegaXcrono, an enemy to the people. Unfortunately, the masses of GTT are a fickle lot, and it has been difficult to form a Metal VGM Block to counter the oversaturation of Calm VGM music. Originally when he arrived he was Raeanus, the Metal VGM Dictator. After a vision quest and a divine calling from the GTT Radio Bot, he reemerged as Major_Rae, the Metal VGM Overlord. His sole purpose is to ensure that every listener gets their daily dose of blood pumping, pulse racing, metal VGM to inspire them to punch alien demons in the face. A sacrifice he makes willingly. As the Metal-CalmWars came to a close, Major_Rae reluctantly ceased his vicious conquest of the GTT Universe and a truce was forged between the Metal and Calm factions. He has reverted back to Raeanus, the Metal VGM Dictator. A petty tyrant that occasionally spams the requests with his favorite Metal VGM tunes.
Speedrunning
He was a content creator for GRUNTo Esports until it folded in 2020. He mainly played retro video games (Atari 2600 - PSX). He has been in two speedrun Marathons hosted by NoReset at DreamHack Atlanta in 2018 and 2019. He presented Final Fantasy 1 on PSP any% category both times. He is a co-founder of the NES Zapper Academy that helps new speedrunners pick up NES Zapper games.
