How It All Began

In the beginning, there was unorganized awesomeness. That awesomeness would bless the Universe with a mindblowing Video Game Music (VGM) game show and podcast. When that awesomeness eventually took form, it coalesced into in the Game That Tune Gods; John Herrington, John Regan, David Fleming, and Jessie Moore. However, they were endowed with so much power, that they were split up at birth. The Universe did that to ensure that they would come together when they were of age to bring the power of VGM to the unwashed masses.

In their youth, John H, John R, and David met in school. They shared a love for video games, but more importantly music. Each developed attributes and talents that would bless the lives of all when GTT was formed. John H developed a drive to be radio show host. John R found new a creative ways to bend all of computer kind to his will. David has a knack for art and loved the cute slimes from Dragon Quest. But something was missing. They knew not what at the time. Jessie had yet to be found. Then in Junior High the blessed reunion of the Four GTT Radio Gods happened. Jessie, the JRPG fan and famous VGM Band artist was brought into the fold and the GTT Quartet was formed that would change the VGM Podcast space.

The Glorious John H happanend upon a bad VGM Podcast. One that was so terrible it almost caused him to erase the cosmos out of disgust. Then he had an epiphany, what if the Quartet of VGM Gods came together and took a bad idea and perfected it. In a short time, order was forced into the chaos of the Universe and GameThatTune was born. At first to shone so bright as to evaporate all who listened to the Podcast. John R used his technical knowledge to intentionally downgrade the Podcast to allow mere mortals to experience the Podcast in a way that is bordering on undulating pleasure.

In conjunction with the Podcast, there was a blessed live YouTube channel. Where all OSTs that had been used on the Podcast could be experienced by all who would come to enjoy. Many came and went, but a few would eventually be considered "regulars" View All of the GTT Users Here. They added the final ingredient to make GTT great. Unfortunately, the peace of VGM goodness would be rocked by the Metal-Calm Wars. Two warring factions emerged that threatened to tear apart and ruin that which the GTT Gods created. John H tried to keep the factions in check. As the Calm and Metal would constantly push the boundaries, forcing John H to continue creating new Commandments to reign in and keep the war in check. Only one thing kept the Metal-Calm Wars from destroying GTT, and that was the Trolls.

Many of the Trolls at one time were considered part of the GTT family. They requested songs, hung out, and we had fun. But for the Trolls, they could only hid their true intentions for so long. Eventually, the glory and brightness of GTT would expose them. Most Trolls were banned and after a couple of fruitless attempts to return they would leave. But the ultimate Troll would not go quietly. The evil drunkard reported GTT to the YouTube Pantheon, and they swiftly shut off GTT Radio. All of the faithful users despaired as we feared that our Judas had killed GTT. John R within a day had recreated GTT on Twitch. Though now smaller than it was on YouTube, once again all could love and experience GTT.
